Who we are

Clint Homestead founded the company on a simple but unwavering principle: that elite-level technical skill should be matched by an uncompromising commitment to safety and customer service.

Clint is a professional dedicated to the highest standards of safety, integrity, and good old-fashioned hard work. As a father and an avid outdoorsman who grew up hunting and fishing across Alaska, Clint understands that your property isn't just land—it’s a home, a playground for your children, and an investment in your future.

His journey into professional tree work began on the fire line as a Sawyer for the Pioneer Peak Hotshots. This high-stakes environment forged his expertise in precision felling and hazardous removals. With several years of dedicated climbing around Alaska, Clint has transitioned those grit-tested skills into the residential sector, providing Mat-Su homeowners with a level of technical proficiency they can trust.

Clint’s background in high-angle safety, structural precision, and master-level understanding of rope mechanics and fall protection under every canopy, backed by an impressive resume of certifications is what set’s Homestead Tree Services apart from the competition:

  • SPRAT 1 Certified (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians)

  • 10SFG(A) Senior Military Mountaineer

  • Industrial Fall Protection Instructor (Specializing in OSHA and ANSI compliance)

Before entering the tree care industry, Clint spent years teaching industrial professionals how to work safely at heights. Today, he applies those same skill sets at every jobsite.

For Clint, tree service isn’t just about clearing a view or removing a hazard; it’s about utilizing his mountaineering experience, sawyer, and technical rope access skills to ensure that every cut is controlled, every property is protected, and every customer feels completely at ease.
